Yippee Earth
Do you remember as a child the excitement of each new day? I do. Everything was new and stimulating; and it all revolved around me, me, me.
Then I grew up. The idea of it being all me, me, me became selfish. Setting a boundary to take care of myself? No, no, that may be inconvenient for someone else.
Putting myself first? So selfish. I must act such that other people are not put out by my being here. Asking for help? Are you kidding me? How selfish could I possibly get?
As adults, a lot of us (no, most of us) have lost our yippee about life. We feel burdened with the projects and circumstances of living and are blurry as to what we want to do next. We couldn't possibly do anything selfish. Or could we?
Can I Put the Yippee Back into Me?
The answer is yes! You can reclaim your sense of awe in life. But to do that you need to change your story.
You are not your stories. You are the storyteller.
Our experience of the world depends on the map of the reality that we have inside of us - the deeply held belief structures that create neural networks in our brains. And it's through those neural networks that our idea of reality becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy within the world.
In other words, we become our stories.
Some people believe that they are the stories written by their genetics. Some people believe they are the stories written by their family drama.
But in fact, you are not your stories.
You are the storyteller. You are the author of your life. In order to reclaim this position, you need to shed your old stories and create new ones.
What makes this difficult is that the body keeps score and remembers the stories we tell it. Our stories are remembered in our energy fields. The hard task is to rewrite an original story, rather than try to fix an old one.
By creating a new story, you are no longer the fifty-year-old still dealing with the issues from your childhood. You have broken through the labels that disenpower you. You are now looking at things through a different lens of reality, and not through the lens in which you grew up.
You can do that by identifying the issues that need to be worked on. How? By listening to your dreams. Your issues are always identified in your dreams. They are just waiting for you to become aware of them.
What Are Dreams?
At their deepest level, dreams are a psychic readings from your Higher Self. Your dreams are specifically designed to awaken you to what you've been overlooking in your life.
Your dreams focus on the “right now”. They could be telling how to restore your health (dreams warm us of health risks years in advance), or how to improve your relationship or your career. Or a dream could be telling you things you need to accept about yourself.
Every night your dreams map your journey to where you need to be. And the secret to unlocking all of this amazing knowledge is in understanding the language that dreams speak. It is a language; and it can be deciphered.

Dreams Are the Other Side of Ordinary
I've often described dreams as being "the other side of ordinary". That's because they seem so extraordinary.
How many times have you said, wow that was the most ordinary and dull dream? I doubt it! They are extraordinary in form and plot, but also so much more.
Are you ready to explore the other side of your ordinary? Let's get your dreams looked at!
