10 Signs That You’re Ready To Make a Change In Your Life  

Making a change in your life doesn't have to be dramatic, blow it up, burn it down and start over.

You make changes in small steps, assess where you are, and make adjustments from there.

If you're wondering if you're ready, here are 10 signs that you're ready for a change in your life 

1. You Just Don't Know Why Anymore

This one is a biggy. You just don't know why you're doing what you're doing anymore.

Perhaps you're asking why do I spend my free-time the way I do? Or why do I hang out with the friends that I do? Or why am I in the relationship that I'm in?

If you come up blank, or you don't like the answers, it might be time to make some adjustments.

By discovering your WHY in this earthly journey, you will understand why you have the challenges in your life that you have, and begin to learn from them to make the changes you want. 

2. You Are on Autopilot

Your life has become routine with schedules and responsibilities, but with little happiness in between. In a way you feel like you're going through life just to get through it.

You're eating on the run, and in other ways running through your life. It could be time to make a change so that you can be an active participant in your own life.

3. You Feel Restless

When your motivation is gone, and you can't find the drive you once had inside you, it could be that the things you want and need have changed.

Or maybe your needs are the same, but the way you're going about achieving them isn't working for you anymore.

Suddenly you feel compelled towards something but you can't put your finger on it. 

4. You're Unhappy at Least Once a Day

It's normal to get upset or feel a bit down every once in awhile, but if you're feeling unhappy everyday without knowing why, that's a sign that you need to take a step back and make a change.

This goes along with feeling bored on a daily basis, which indicates you no longer feel challenged in life.

And, if you find yourself looking for distractions a lot, this means you're going through life mindlessly and you need to find what really excites you. 

5. You've Just About Had It

You start to realize that the things you are stressing about aren't worth it.  And you're stressed all the time.

You've been thinking about making a change, and now you're sick and tired of just thinking.

You're ready to make a change to rewrite your life story so that it aligns with your daydreams of joy and success. You're willing to take a risk to make this happen. 

6. You Feel Drawn to Spiritual Experiences

You feel a sudden desire to learn more about spiritual things. You're craving for something because you seem to have outgrown your current life and want something more meaningful.

You have this urge to seek out new knowledge and experiences and learn new skills.  

7. You're Curious About What Your Dreams are Telling You

You have been hearing more and more about dream analysis and now you're curious about your own dreams.

Dreams will tell you why you're resisting creating the changes you desire, and they will lead you to understand your belief systems and the driving forces behind them.

Your dreams can lead you to answers that can have the most powerful impacts on your life. You must first have an awareness of your beliefs around your experiences so that there is room for change to take place. This is what your dreams can give you.

8. You're Constantly Daydreaming

You find yourself always thinking of a different life, one that's  more colorful and exciting than the one you have now.

Perhaps you imagine a better job, or a different body, or a different lifestyle in a different place. This is a sign that you're ready to make a change. 

9. You Sense That You're Living Your Life as Somebody Else

You feel that you've already changed but you're still living your old life and doing the same things. This is a sign that you're not in alignment with your true desires and passions 

10. You Start Questioning Some of your Inherited Beliefs

We grow up in this world with so much programming. We're told what to do, what not to do.

We get into such a habit that we don't go outside of that programming pattern.

But who you truly are is outside of that pattern. You start to get a lot of little ah-ha moments in life.

Your limiting beliefs start to show up like little weeds that poke through the cement, until they finally hook you and you realize that your beliefs have been restricting you.  

Why you should change if you're ready  

Living authentically is a game changer in so many ways. When you start to define your values and live in a way that aligns with those values, despite the expectations of others, you may find yourself in control of your life in a way you never did before. 


The easy part is letting go of yourself.  

The hard part is letting go of yourself. 

Letting go of your beliefs, and making change is painful. That's why we avoid it.

But sometimes, you need to get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself to do things (like set boundaries and define your values).

When you do this, you can let go of who you are not, by making room for who you truly are.

Then:  

  • You no longer settle for superficial relationships and make room for genuine connections. 

  • Your energy becomes available for what truly matters to you and what you value.  

  • You attract experiences and people that are aligned with your authentic nature. 

  • You begin to understand how different environments, people and choices affect your energy field. 

  • You start listening to your body, which holds a deep knowing about what's true for you.  

  • You begin to understand your spiritual nature and your authentic purpose in life. 

  • You allow yourself to question what you've been told. 

     

  • You understand that conditioning shaped you from birth but it doesn't define your authentic nature. 

  • You feel a sense of expansion and self-compassion.  

  • You become a model for others to live authentically too.
